1200 Series Vacuum Degassers
1200 Series micro vacuum degasser:
- Fast and easy flushing, purging, priming, and solvent exchange by low internal volume (1 mL per channel).
- High degassing efficiency for the most demanding applications for highly reproducible analyses
- Very low baseline noise by using controlled constant vacuum pressure mode.
- Less internal flow restrictions for an even better performance with most applications and solvents at higher flow rates
1200 Series vacuum degasser:
- Robust design for high instrument uptime - degassing principle based on passing solvent through a membrane tube which is permeable to gas but not liquid, and kept at a constant vacuum level.
- Reduced baseline noise and quenching effects due to high degassing capacity.. In fluorescence detection this results in lower detection limits and long-term baseline stability.
- Especially recommended for GPC/SEC applications using refractive index detection.
1200 Series Diode-array Detector
- Access the spectral domain with superior 3D optics- simultaneous illumination using combined deuterium and tungsten lamps for highest intensity and lowest detection limit from 190 to 950 nm, 1024 diodes and 1-nm slit for highest spectral resolution.
- Programmable slit to explore the spectral landscape for faster sample characterization-focus on fine bands with narrow setting, or if higher sensitivity is required open up the programmable slit for more light throughput. A broad slit ensures lowest baseline noise and highest chromatographic signal-to-noise. Store and report slit settings, from 1 - 16 nm, together with your raw data for GLP trace ability.
- Convenient spectral storage and flexible viewing -easily overlaid spectra within a run or between runs.
- Verify wavelength accuracy for GLP compliance-automatic holmium oxide filter verifies that your wavelength is indeed what the set point says it is.
- Connect to LC/MS-high pressure micro flow cell for extremely small internal volumes are required for LC-MS applications and use a single Agilent Chem Station to acquire and view UV and MS spectral data.
- Explore capillary HPLC- flow rates as low as 5-µl/min with the new 500-nanoliter-flow cell. Increase sensitivity 50 to 100-fold compare to standard-bore HPLC.
- Easy front access to lamp and flow cell for fast replacement
- Low cost of ownership - long life deuterium lamp (>2000 h), built-in diagnostics software
1200 Series Fluorescence Detector
- Superior sensitivity for lower detection limits at any combination of excitation and emission wavelengths. A long-life flash lamp, simplified optics and a reference system improve baseline stability.
- Improved selectivity and sensitivity by simultaneous multiple wavelength detection. Monochromators work in signal or spectral mode and are synchronized with the flashlight to allow for detection at up to 4 excitation or emission wavelengths.
- Specification for dual wavelength operation now also available.
- Method optimisation or peak confirmation by exploring the spectral landscape. View online spectra without interrupting your chromatography.
- Fast offline characterization of new compounds - Fill the FLD cuvette with your pure compound and take a fluorescence scan to get a complete visualization of all excitation and emission spectra with a single task.
- Verify wavelength accuracy for GLP compliance - Automatically check the built-in wavelength calibration (Raman band H20) with external standards that your wavelength is indeed what the set point says it is.
- Built-in diagnostics software and long-life lamp.
- Easy front access to flow cell for fast inspection or exchange.
1200 Series Multiple Wavelength Detector
- Excellent signal-to-noise - for lowest limits of detection.

1200 Series Control Module - Instant Pilot
Bigger, Brighter and in Color
The Agilent 1200 Series instant pilot controller gives you complete control, system monitoring, signal plotting and diagnostic capabilities for a virtually unlimited number of LC system modules. Based on the highly successful implementation of the industry-standard control area network (CAN) and cabling, used in the first Agilent control module, the instant pilot is even more powerful.
1200 Series Nanoflow LC System for MS
Nanoflow LC for high sensitivity nanospray MS
Nanoflow LC is widely used for high resolution separations and high sensitivity MS detection. The Agilent 1200 Series Nanoflow LC incorporates Agilent's unique Electronic Flow Control (EFC) with active feedback and real time flow adjustment for constant flow delivery to the column independent of system backpressure. First introduced with the 1100 Series capillary and nanoflow LC pumps, EFC with real time flow control is the gold standard for reliable and robust nanoflow performance. Easy to use, the Agilent 1200 Series nanoflow LC simply requires the user to input the desired nanoflow set-point to obtain the precise flow and gradient performance required for retention time reproducibility and stable ion generation essential for high sensitivity nanoflow MS performance
6100 Series Quadrupole LC/MS Systems
Faster and Smaller
The Agilent 6100 Series Quadrupole LC/MS systems offer the sensitivity, selectivity, and depth of molecular information inherent in mass a spectrometer. Four models are available:
6110 - The economical entry level to LCMS 6120 - Entry level LCMS with flexibility of POS/NEG switching 6130 - Research grade LCMS including full features and maximum sensitivity 6140 - Research grade LCMS with fast scanning capability, ideal for fast LC and high throughput
- Smaller footprint - Only 15 inches of linear bench space helping to conserve valuable laboratory space.
- Multimode Source for simultaneous ESI and APCI - Standard positive and negative ionisation modes as well as simultaneous electro spray ionisation (ESI) and atmospheric-pressure chemical ionisation (APCI) improve throughput.
- Exceptional sensitivity - Low picogram detection levels with RSDs of less than 5 percent linear response over three orders of magnitude in the 6110 and 6120 models and up to four orders of magnitude in the 6130 and 6140 models allowing for more and precise detection.
- Faster chromatography - Using the specificity of MS, fully resolve peaks are not required for mass spectral analysis: allowing shortened chromatographic runs and reduced sample preparation. Now the 6140 offers 10,000 amu/sec, providing optimal data quality for narrow peaks.
- Fast and easy system setup - Automated tuning and a built-in calibrant delivery system make system setup fast and ensure consistent calibration with pre-made calibrants saving time and avoiding mistakes.
- Improved uptime -The orthogonal spray orientation keeps the capillary cleaner and the ion source is very tolerant of non-volatile components in samples or mobile phase. Self-aligning components and a hinged, swing-out spray chamber make cleaning easier. Diagnostic software tracks system use and displays prompts when key components need servicing.
- Multiple signal acquisition - The 6120, 6130 and 6140 LC/MS models can cycle through four different user-selected acquisition modes on a scan-by-scan basis within a single run increasing the amount and variety of data that can be acquired from a single sample and improving lab productivity.
- System wide validation - The LC/MS 6100 family includes an array of integrated validation features to help meet the most demanding regulatory requirements.
- Security - Optional Chem. Station Security Pack software supports 21 CFR Part 11 compliance.
